Who we are

Mehjo is operated by The PAL Creative Ltd (company number 15473052), trading as Mehjo. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Contact: hello@mehjo.io.

We are the data controller for your personal data under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.

What we collect

When you subscribe we collect:

• Your email address.
• Your Telegram user ID — a numeric identifier assigned by Telegram.
• Your payment information, processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.

Through your use of the service we also process:

• Your briefing preferences.
• Your conversation history with Mehjo.
• Basic usage data such as delivery timestamps and error logs.

Why we collect it

We process your data to:

• Deliver your daily intelligence briefing — legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Improve the briefing based on your interactions — legal basis: legitimate interest in product improvement.
• Process your subscription payment via Stripe — legal basis: performance of contract.

Who we share it with

A small number of trusted processors:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Telegram — briefing delivery via the @mehjo_bot bot.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

• Subscriber data — for the lifetime of your subscription, plus 7 years for tax and accounting records.
• Telegram user IDs — deleted within 30 days of cancellation.
• Conversation history — deleted within 90 days of cancellation.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, request data portability, and object to processing.

To exercise any right, email hello@mehjo.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies on mehjo.io. The site is static HTML with no tracking scripts.

We may update this notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
